HVAC Estimator/Quality Control

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator/Quality Control professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating HVAC system costs, managing project budgets, and ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the construction process. Your expertise will help drive successful project outcomes by combining precise cost analysis with rigorous quality oversight. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed HVAC estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors through effective negotiation to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Develop comprehensive project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost control strategies to maximize profitability.
• Review construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate scope of work and identify potential risks or discrepancies early in the process.
• Oversee quality control procedures on-site and in documentation to verify that installations meet design standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, coordinate with construction management teams, and address any quality issues promptly.
• Manage contract documentation, change orders, and project schedules to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on HVAC systems; familiarity with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating tools is essential.
• Strong background in construction management practices including cost control, pricing strategies, and contract administration.
• Hands-on construction site experience with an understanding of HVAC installation processes and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate bids for complex projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a keen eye for quality assurance standards in construction environments.
