HVAC Foreman

Canyon Air Systems, a division of Andersen Commercial Plumbing, is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Foreman to join our growing Multi-Family and Light Commercial division. What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Foreman, you will lead commercial installation projects from start to finish while supervising field crews and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage HVAC installation projects for multi-family and light commercial applications
• Supervise, coordinate, and mentor installers, apprentices, and assigned labor crews
• Install rooftop units, split systems, ductless systems, vent hoods, exhaust systems, and humidity controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, duct layouts, mechanical plans, and specifications
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and ensure optimal system performance
• Conduct system start-ups, testing, and quality inspections
• Maintain organized, safe, and productive job sites
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and other trades
• Complete daily reports, safety documentation, schedules, and timecards accurately
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, building codes, and company standards

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of HVAC experience in Light Commercial and Multi-Family construction
• 2+ years of Foreman or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, copper brazing, line sets, PVC piping, and commercial installations
• Ability to lead crews, solve problems in the field, and maintain production schedules
• Proficient with power tools and hand tools
• Ability to read mechanical plans and installation manuals
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and active construction sites
• Frequent standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
