HVAC / Gas Fireplace Maintenance Technician

Job SummaryWe are seeking an HVAC / Gas Fireplace Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, cleanings, and system inspections. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career and grow into a Service Technician role.Compensation & Benefits

• $18–$25/hr (based on experience)
• Commission opportunities on identified repairs
• 15% service commission (when sold & installed by technician)
• 7% commission on sold jobs
• 8% commission on part installs from other technicians

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on HVAC systems (furnaces, A/C, heat pumps)
• Clean coils, burners, blowers, and internal components
• Service and clean gas fireplaces
• Inspect systems for proper operation and safety
• Identify and recommend needed repairs
• Perform basic electrical and system checks
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and service vehicle
• Complete service reports and documentation

Requirements

• 1+ year HVAC or mechanical experience preferred
• EPA 608 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and tools
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• English required (bilingual a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Preventative maintenance experience
• Basic electrical troubleshooting
• Gas fireplace experience (training provided if needed)
