HVAC General Manager – Sales & Estimating (Part-Time or Full Time) with a path to Partnership

Overview
This isn’t a "sit behind a desk" role. We need a leader who has spent years in the field, understands the technical side of the trade, and—most importantly—knows how to close high-ticket residential and commercial sales. Candidates with an existing book of business will be given preference.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC General Manager – Sales & Estimating (Part-Time / Full-Time- 15-20 hours a week) to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in sales, who is looking to contribute to a growing company while maintaining flexible hours. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing sales activities, preparing estimates, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to leverage their HVAC industry knowledge and sales skills in a part-time capacity.

Base pay is on a $30-$35 per hour payscale. Total compensation package includes commissions and bonuses

  • Drive Sales: Lead the charge on sales growth. You’ll be responsible for closing leads, following up on estimates, and coaching the team to identify upsell opportunities.
  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily schedules, dispatching, and field performance. You’ll ensure our techs are performing at the highest level of efficiency and customer service.
  • Field Oversight: Provide technical guidance when needed. You aren't afraid to put on the boots to help a tech troubleshoot or to walk a customer through a complex replacement plan.
  • Customer Finance: Educate customers on our in-house financing options for qualified buyers to help close more deals and provide accessible solutions for our community.
  • System Management: Utilize ServiceTitan to track KPIs, manage customer data, and streamline the sales-to-install workflow.
  • Strategic Growth: Work directly with ownership to scale the business through local marketing initiatives and community engagement.

What You Bring

  • Field Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years in the HVAC or Restoration industry. You must know the "how" behind the work.
  • Proven Sales Record: You have a "closer" mentality and a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Sarasota and Bradenton area, including local building codes and customer expectations.
  • Leadership Mastery: Experience managing a team of techs. You know how to motivate, hold people accountable, and maintain a positive shop culture.
  • Communication: You can explain complex mechanical issues to a homeowner in a way that builds trust and leads to a sale.
