HVAC Helper

Job Summary

Your hands-on support will help ensure efficient operation of climate control systems, refrigeration units, and related mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
• You will report daily to the warehouse to load parts for field installations.
• Support the setup and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment using schematics and technical diagrams.
• Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and perform basic equipment repairs.
• Conduct routine property maintenance tasks related to HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow safety protocols during all field service activities and maintain a clean work environment.
• Support welding or boiler-related tasks as needed under supervision to develop mechanical knowledge.

Skills

• Basic understanding of construction principles relevant to HVAC installation and repair projects.
• Prior service technician or field service experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, and mechanical drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, and boiler maintenance.
• Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical diagnostic devices.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
