HVAC Helper - Commercial

Ritz Pump Service Inc. is family-owned business looking for a full-time commercial HVAC helper. Since 2009, we have been servicing commercial clients all over NYC, repairing all types of equipment, namely pumps, motors, cooling towers, HVAC/R and more.

We are rapidly growing and are looking to add a helper to the team who can grow with us. Our helper program is designed to expose the individual to as many aspects of commercial repair as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heat pumps and other types of HVAC equipment (chillers, RTUs, split systems, Boilers, Hot Water Heaters, Ice Machines, Walk-In Boxes, etc.)
• Learn to dismantle, clean and rebuild all types of water pumps with new seals, bearings and other hardware (closed-couple, submersible, split case, etc.)
• Maintaining organization of workshop, including inventory of both workshop and fleet
• Prepare daily progress reports
• Interact with customers professionally

Qualifications:

• Atleast 1 year of experience in a commercial mechanical repair shop is preferred
• Must be able to learn quickly
• EPA-608 certified
• Positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
