HVAC Inspector - St. Cloud

JOB This is skilled inspection work in securing compliance with municipal ordinances and regulations governing the repair and installation of heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air conditioning appliances. Work involves the responsibility for making inspections of all appliances, gas piping and duct installations for proper workmanship, materials and operating safety. Although new and difficult situations may be referred to a supervisor, the employee usually works independently in the field and is responsible for independent decisions requiring technical judgment. Work also involves the performance of inspections tasks in other construction fields as workloads in the department require. All work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Building Official.
