HVAC Install Helper

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist HVAC Lead Installers with the installation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans
• Prepare job sites by unloading equipment and materials, ensuring all tools are organized for efficient workflow
• Support in connecting refrigerant lines, ductwork, electrical wiring, and plumbing components under supervision
• Use diagnostic tools such as refrigerant gauges and electrical meters to troubleshoot system issues during installation
• Help with equipment wiring, brazing, and charging systems to perform as designed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure a secure job site
• Support field service operations including appliance repair, boiler maintenance, and property upkeep as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with HVAC systems is preferred
• Basic understanding of HVAC functionality, refrigerant and electrical is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning units, and equipment repair is highly desirable
• Ability to operate tools such as electrical meters and brazing equipment safely and effectively
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong willingness to learn about HVAC systems
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in various environments

Compensation

2% - Complete system changeout or partial change out

4% - Repair or part installation. (Including IAQ and duct work)

$20/hr warranty work or shop time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
