Commercial Air has been installing and servicing commercial HVAC systems in the Willamette Valley since 1979. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the trade from the ground up. No experience required. If you show up on time, work hard, and are willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

Skilled trades are one of the few career paths left where you get paid while you learn instead of paying for a degree. Our installers started exactly where you'd be starting.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting lead installers with the installation of rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Loading, unloading, and staging materials and equipment at job sites
• Running and supporting sheet metal ductwork, refrigerant line sets, and condensate drains
• Basic hand and power tool work under the direction of a lead installer
• Job site cleanup, material handling, and keeping the truck and shop organized
• Learning to read basic prints, equipment specs, and installation instructions
• Following all safety procedures, including ladder, lift, and rooftop safety
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet all day
• Comfortable working outdoors, on ladders, on rooftops, and in mechanical rooms and crawl spaces
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Willingness to take direction and ask questions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice to have, not required

• Any construction, warehouse, landscaping, farm, or general labor experience
• Basic hand tool familiarity
• Interest in pursuing an HVAC apprenticeship or EPA 608 certification
