About the Role:
SLATECO HEATING AND COOLING LLC is looking for a skilled HVAC Installer Technician to join our growing team in Roseto, PA! Responsibilities:
- Install residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Perform system startups, commissioning, and testing to ensure proper operation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment issues during and after installation
- Ensure all installations meet local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation progress and system operation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience preferred
- EPA 608 Certification required or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in varying weather conditions
