HVAC Installation Manager

We are seeking an organized, results-driven Installation Manager to lead our HVAC installation department. This role is responsible for managing installation operations, scheduling and dispatching crews, overseeing warehouse and inventory functions, coordinating equipment and material procurement, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

The Installation Manager serves as the primary leader for the installation team, driving performance, quality workmanship, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to analyze performance metrics, develop employees, and implement systems that improve efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of installation crews.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, equipment procurement, and material staging.
• Monitor project progress, labor efficiency, job costs, and profitability.
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards, timelines, and customer expectations.
• Conduct job site visits, quality inspections, and performance reviews.
• Train, coach, and develop installation personnel while fostering a positive team culture.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding scheduling, project status, and timelines.
• Analyze operational reports and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with office staff, sales teams, and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience required.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in HVAC installation or a related trade preferred.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, accountability, and customer service.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• 1+ year of field foreman or lead installer experience.
• 3+ years of installation management experience.

Compensation

$100,000 – $136,000 total compensation potential (performance-based).

This position offers a base salary of $60,000 – $75,000, with additional earnings through performance incentives, spiffs, and bonus programs tied to departmental performance, operational efficiency, profitability, and company goals. High performers who successfully lead their teams and achieve key performance objectives have the opportunity to earn within the full compensation range.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $136,000.00 per year
