Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Installer/Foreman to lead installation projects and oversee field operations. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership capabilities to ensure high-quality HVAC system installations, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schematics, design plans, and safety protocols.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and HVAC design documents to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Coordinate with team members and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct field service visits for maintenance, appliance repair, property upkeep, and system diagnostics.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related HVAC installation or service technician roles with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and boiler operation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics accurately.
- Mechanical skills including equipment repair, welding, troubleshooting electrical components, and using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices and field service operations.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems and appliance repair techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively as a foreman on multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and vendors.
