HVAC Installer/Service Technician/Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Installer/Service Technician/Helper to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment in commercial and residential settings. All positions are paid, and this role provides valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and service.
• Perform system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct field service visits for routine maintenance or urgent repairs on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, property maintenance tasks, or appliance repairs.
• Assist with plumbing connections and ensure proper operation of ammonia refrigeration systems where applicable.
• Use welding skills when necessary for equipment repair or system modifications; maintain safety standards at all times.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and system diagnostics for future reference.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or mechanical trades with a focus on HVAC or refrigeration is highly preferred.
• Proven service technician experience with knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and HVAC design principles.
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and general equipment repair.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters confidently.
• Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a <PERSON> driver is a plus.
• Knowledge of property maintenance tasks and appliance repair is advantageous.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and boiler systems enhances your versatility on the job.
