Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge. This role involves leading classroom instruction, mentoring students, and ensuring that all educational programs meet industry standards. The Lead Instructor will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of professionals in fields such as HVAC, electrical systems, and aircraft maintenance. Classes are Saturdays.
- Lead classroom instruction, ensuring that all lessons are engaging and informative.
- Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to enhance student understanding of mechanical concepts.
- Oversee student projects, guiding them through fabrication processes and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations and promote a safe learning environment.
- Assess student performance through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings and share best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure curriculum relevance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical knowledge with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and aircraft maintenance.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in technical training.
- Ability to fabricate components as part of instructional demonstrations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively in a classroom setting.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards related to safety in technical training environments.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students to help them achieve their career goals.
