HVAC journeyman and installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC journeyman and installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration and mechanical maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment across commercial and residential settings. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal system performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction through expert service and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems and related mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Perform service technician duties such as equipment repair, maintenance, and system upgrades in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when necessary.
• Assist with HVAC design modifications or installations based on client needs.
• Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols including proper handling of refrigerants and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Document work performed accurately in service reports and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HVAC service technician roles with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
