Job Summary:

HVAC Lead Installer:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are installed correctly and function efficiently. The installation technician ensures proper and safe installation of all equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Installer will be responsible for installing new/replacement equipment and providing excellent customer service to residential and commercial heating and air conditioning customers.
  • Lead Installer will be expected to interpret construction drawings, schematics, and cut sheets in the field.
  • Lead Installer will be expected to work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the HVAC trade:
  • Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and schematics.
  • Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems according to specifications and schematics.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance services performed.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Installing HVAC Systems

Residential Furnace, Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, Commercial Rooftop Ductwork, Condensate Drains, Venting, Refrigerant Piping, Gas Piping & Insulation. Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls, and programming.

Other job/field related tasks as required:

  • Brazing, threading pipe, soldering, and welding.
  • Must be competent in the preparation, testing and start-up of new HVAC equipment.
  • Always explain the system to the client when finished with an installation and make sure that they are 100% satisfied with the work.
  • Train installation assistants/helpers, teaching them to work independently for maximum installation efficiency.
  • Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving, and make sure that the assistant installer is also working safely and neatly.
  • Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls, and programming.
  • Installing new/replacement equipment and providing excellent customer service to residential and commercial heating and air conditioning customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s License
