HVAC Lead Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Lead Installer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As a leader on the job site, you will coordinate with team members, interpret technical schematics, and deliver exceptional service to our clients. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive successful project completion while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

• Lead and supervise HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Read and interpret detailed schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to guide installations
• Collaborate with team members to install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Perform plumbing connections, electrical wiring, welding, and equipment repair as needed to ensure system functionality
• Conduct system testing using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to verify proper operation
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and building codes during all phases of installation and maintenance
• Provide guidance on property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and mechanical equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a strong mechanical background
• Extensive field service experience with HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, welding techniques, and equipment repair processes
• Familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in appliance repair and property maintenance
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train or mentor junior team members

Pay: $24.90 - $29.99 per hour
