HVAC Lead Service Technician

Job Overview
We are a family owned/operated business since 1979 . We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including maintenance and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment and systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and some commercial properties.

Required

• Minium 3 years experience
• EPA Certification
• Valid TN drivers License with good driving record
• Must be able to pass background and drug test
• US work authorization
• References
• Professional appearence and positive attitude
• Weekend emergency calls on rotation basis
• Must have own tools

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC residential systems, mini splits and light commercial.
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to address equipment malfunctions effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job

Skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and installation techniques.
• Experience as a service technician in the HVAC field is required.
• Field service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction is essential.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently, including souldering when necessary.
• Competence in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
