Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct field service operations including appliance repair, equipment replacement, welding, and calibration of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical faults and mechanical failures.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems (used in commercial refrigeration), and other mechanical infrastructure.
• Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between job sites as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC maintenance or related mechanical fields.
• Strong construction background with knowledge of schematics and HVAC design principles.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing systems, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and appliance repair.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing equipment repair, welding techniques, and general property maintenance.
• Field service experience working on air conditioning systems and HVAC/R equipment in commercial or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshooting electrical components within HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating heavy machinery or specialized vehicles is a plus. Pay: $24.00 - $31.08 per hour
