HVAC Maintenance & MEP Site Manager

Job Summary

AWENA Electrical Trading & Contracting is seeking a highly experienced HVAC Maintenance & MEP Site Manager to lead HVAC maintenance operations and supervise MEP construction activities across residential, commercial, restaurant, and hospitality projects.

The candidate will manage on-call maintenance services, preventive maintenance programs, emergency response, kitchen hood systems, and oversee MEP site execution works ensuring quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Arabic speaker preferred to coordinate effectively with local clients and site teams.

Key Responsibilities1. HVAC Maintenance Management

• Lead preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance operations.
• Manage on-call maintenance services for restaurants, homes, and hotels.
• Supervise kitchen hood cleaning and exhaust system maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with service SLAs and response times.
• Monitor technician productivity and quality of work.

2. MEP Site Construction Supervision

• Oversee MEP installation works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing).
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review shop drawings and method statements.
• Ensure work execution as per project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Monitor project progress and report to management.

3. Technical Oversight

• Troubleshoot complex HVAC and MEP technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction and safety regulations.
• Supervise testing & commissioning activities.
• Coordinate authority inspections when required.

4. Team Leadership

• Supervise HVAC technicians and MEP site supervisors.
• Plan manpower allocation.
• Conduct technical training and safety toolbox talks.
• Evaluate team performance and discipline.

5. Client & Reporting

• Attend client meetings and site coordination meetings.
• Handle client complaints and technical clarifications.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Support estimation and quotation preparation for new works.

6. Cost & Inventory Control

• Monitor spare parts and material usage.
• Control wastage and reduce operational cost.
• Coordinate procurement requirements for site and maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years total experience in HVAC & MEP.
• Minimum 3–5 years in managerial/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Split, Package & VRF systems
• Ventilation & exhaust systems
• Basic chiller coordination
• MEP construction practices
• Experience in maintenance contracts and project execution.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
• Arabic speaker preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
