Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper water flow and drainage.
- Operate welding tools and perform equipment repair tasks to restore functionality efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate troubleshooting and installation.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks including appliance repair, mechanical system adjustments, and general building upkeep.
- Drive company vehicles responsibly to various job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or related mechanical fields.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and related equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, and boiler maintenance.
- Familiarity with field service procedures for property maintenance and appliance repair.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Ohmmeters or other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by construction skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
