HVAC Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Perform plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper water flow and drainage.
• Operate welding tools and perform equipment repair tasks to restore functionality efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate troubleshooting and installation.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks including appliance repair, mechanical system adjustments, and general building upkeep.
• Drive company vehicles responsibly to various job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or related mechanical fields.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and related equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, and boiler maintenance.
• Familiarity with field service procedures for property maintenance and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Ohmmeters or other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by construction skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
