We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose system malfunctions using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct equipment repairs including welding, component replacement, and calibration to ensure optimal operation.
- Install new HVAC/R systems following design specifications and schematics; assist with HVAC design modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate field service vehicles responsibly as a <PERSON> driver to reach job sites promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in property maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects related to HVAC installation or repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology (including ammonia refrigeration), and appliance repair.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with HVAC/R systems is essential.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience working on boilers, air conditioning units, and other mechanical equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating field service vehicles preferred.
