HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment. This role requires a strong foundation in HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal operation and safety of all equipment. The technician will perform field service tasks, interpret schematics, and execute maintenance procedures to support property operations and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Perform equipment repairs involving plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), welding, and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to HVAC design, electrical systems, and appliance repair to restore functionality efficiently.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems or upgrades following industry standards.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols during field service activities and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Support property maintenance tasks as needed, including equipment replacement or upgrades.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician within construction, property maintenance, or HVAC fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and HVAC design plans effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and the use of welding equipment is preferred.
• Experience working with field service operations in Hotels.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
