HVAC Maintenance Technician/Installer

Join our team as an HVAC Maintenance Technician/Installer.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, plumbing, and related mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Perform repairs and replacements on HVAC components, including compressors, fans, filters, thermostats, and electrical wiring.
• Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
• Execute field service tasks such as appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, and ammonia refrigeration system maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
• Assist with property maintenance duties related to air conditioning systems, plumbing issues, boiler operation, or other mechanical needs as required.

<Skills>

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
• Proven service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design principles to guide repairs accurately.
• Skilled in plumbing work and appliance repair techniques relevant to building maintenance.
• Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other specialized refrigeration setups is a plus.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is advantageous.
