Material Runner / Warehouse Associate – HVAC Construction

COR3 Mechanical is hiring a dependable Material Runner / Warehouse Associate to support our commercial HVAC projects throughout Central Florida.

This position is responsible for picking up, receiving, organizing, and delivering HVAC materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. The right candidate must be able to safely tow trailers and have a working understanding of HVAC and construction materials to help make sure the correct items are received, loaded, and delivered.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver HVAC, sheet metal, piping, insulation, tools, and construction materials
• Receive and verify incoming materials against packing slips, tickets, or purchase orders
• Load, unload, secure, and organize materials safely
• Tow trailers when needed
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory, order picking, and stock control
• Help prepare outgoing materials for job site deliveries
• Perform basic maintenance on small tools and equipment, including minor repairs, cleaning, and oil changes
• Communicate with project managers, foremen, vendors, and warehouse staff
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, vehicle, and trailer area
• Report missing, damaged, or incorrect materials
• Follow company safety procedures and job site requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of construction, warehouse, delivery, or material handling experience in the construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely tow trailers
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and construction materials
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or order fulfillment preferred
• Basic mechanical ability to maintain and repair small tools and equipment
• Forklift, pallet jack, or equipment handling experience preferred
• Ability to lift, load, unload, and move materials as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
• Must pass a background check and drug test

Commercial HVAC or construction experience is strongly preferred.

Pay: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour
