HVAC Mechanic (2026)

Home Comfort Practice, Inc. is expanding our HVAC department. We are currently hiring for a HVAC Mechanic.

Responsibilities for Lead HVAC Mechanic:

• Full installation of new and replacement systems from cooling to heating, ductless and ducted heat pump systems, hot water heaters, etc.
• Repairs & replaces defective equipment, components & wiring
• Designs, fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fitting as required
• Provides guidance and knowledge to HVAC apprentice on proper skills and training of HVAC installation jobs
• Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize jobs and tasks

Qualifications for Lead HVAC Mechanic:

• REQUIRED: Connecticut HVAC licensing: S1, S2, S9, S10, B1, B2, D1, D2
• At least 5+ years of demonstrated HVAC experience
• Must be able to perform functions of the position which include utilizing safety guidelines and job hazard analysis and ensuring staff is using PPE as required
• Possess good physical endurance and strength plus excellent written and verbal communication skills
• EPA and OSHA Certifications
