The Master Craftsman. The Crew Commander.
Join the Elite Leadership at Alliance Heating & Air Conditioning
At Alliance, we don’t just install equipment; we engineer reliability. We are looking for a Mechanical Team Installation Foreman to serve as the master technician and strategic leader of our mechanical crews. If you believe that a furnace or boiler installation isn't finished until it is a showcase of technical mastery—Level, Plumb, and Clean—you belong in our hive.
THE ALLIANCE ADVANTAGE: WHY LEAD OUR MECHANICAL TEAM?
- The "We Build You" Shop: We believe that what is good for the hive is good for the bee. As a Foreman, you are the ultimate mentor. You don't just manage production; you are responsible for coaching your crews and moving apprentices from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat of their careers.
- The Authority of "The Alliance Way": You own on-site Quality Control. You have the authority to ensure every piece of equipment—from ACs to boilers—is installed, wired, piped, and vented perfectly according to code and our own elite standards.
- Strategic Command: You aren't just a tech; you are the primary jobsite liaison. You will coordinate directly with other trades and management to ensure projects are executed on time and under budget.
THE STANDARD: WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for a veteran leader who carries the quiet confidence of a master and the professional grit to lead a high-performing team.
- The Credentials: A CT State Trade license (e.g., S/D), EPA Certification, and a required OSHA 30 certification.
- The Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in HVAC mechanical installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of combustion analysis, piping, wiring, and start-up procedures for residential and light commercial systems.
- The Tools: You own and maintain a complete set of advanced professional hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Leadership Presence: Exceptional strategic communication skills and a clean driving record to lead our fleet by example.
YOUR IMPACT
- Crew Leadership: You will directly oversee multiple 2-man technician and apprentice crews, acting as the technical anchor for the team.
- Technical Problem Solving: You will be the "go-to" for complex field issues, from equipment placement to technical start-up challenges.
- Supply Chain Oversight: You will review and support the material ordering process to ensure your crews have every part and consumable they need before the tools hit the floor.
- Digital Excellence: You will ensure all electronic documentation, including commissioning checklists and warranty registrations, are completed with 100% accuracy.
