Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Technician for a short-term ITP assignment to support our client’s QE LNG Maintenance Project at QELNG North, located in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems within an Oil & Gas operational environment, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with safety and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, and exhaust systems
• Inspect, service, and repair compressors, fans, pumps, belts, bearings, valves, and ducting
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per schedules
• Identify mechanical faults and perform efficient troubleshooting
• Coordinate with HVAC electrical technicians and supervisors
• Ensure compliance with PTW systems, LOTO procedures, and HSE requirements
• Replace worn or defective mechanical components
• Maintain proper documentation and maintenance records
• Ensure good housekeeping and safe work practices at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanical Technician in the Oil & Gas / LNG / industrial sector
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Technical diploma or trade certificate in HVAC / Mechanical
• Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and maintenance practices
• Prior experience working in LNG plants or large industrial facilities is an advantage
• Ability to work long hours in an industrial site environment
• Physically fit, safety-focused, and disciplined

Employment Details

• Salary: QAR 3,500 per month
• Working Schedule:
• 10 hours per day & 6 days per week
• Overtime: Paid for hours worked beyond 10 hours per day
• Benefits: Company-provided FAT (Food, Accommodation & Transport)
