Duration: 2 Months Extendable (Starting 1st week of June)

Salary : QAR 3500 plus food, accommodation and transport will be provided

Working Days/Hours: Saturday to Thursday / 10hours including 1hour break

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Technician for a short-term ITP assignment to support our client’s QE LNG Project at QELNG North, located in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar.

Primary Objective:
Responsible for executing HVAC maintenance and repair work safely and efficiently, following company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and service ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults including compressors, fan motors, and related components.
• Carry out adjustments, replacements, brazing, pressure testing, and vacuuming of HVAC units.
• Perform commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret HVAC mechanical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and reports.
• Support team members in achieving operational KPIs.
• Execute emergency repairs and other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanical Technician in the Oil & Gas / LNG / industrial sector
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Technical diploma or trade certificate in HVAC / Mechanical
• Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and maintenance practices
• Prior experience working in LNG plants or large industrial facilities is an advantage
• Ability to work long hours in an industrial site environment
• Physically fit, safety-focused, and disciplined
