HVAC Oil Burner Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a MA licensed, motivated and skilled HVAC Technician with experience in oil-fired and air conditioning equipment to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing oil-fired heating systems and related HVAC equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties

• Troubleshoot and repair oil burners, furnaces, boilers, and associated HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Conduct routine maintenance on oil-fired equipment and air conditioning equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues
• Perform system inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to evaluate electrical components of HVAC systems
• Repair or replace mechanical parts including pumps, valves, burners, and controls
• Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all work performed

Skills

• Proven service technician experience with a focus on oil-fired equipment
• Proven service technician experience with central air conditioning systems
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety standards at all times

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
