HVAC Operation Engineer

responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. The role involves monitoring system operations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating maintenance or improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and monitor HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement efficiency improvement measures.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports on system status, faults, and maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and other engineering teams during inspections and projects.
• Participate in system commissioning, testing, and optimization.
• Support planning and budgeting for HVAC operations and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC operation and maintenance (preferably in commercial, industrial, or facilities management environments).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and related mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification in HVAC, energy management, or safety (preferred).
