The role involves monitoring system operations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating maintenance or improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, and monitor HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement efficiency improvement measures.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare reports on system status, faults, and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and other engineering teams during inspections and projects.
- Participate in system commissioning, testing, and optimization.
- Support planning and budgeting for HVAC operations and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC operation and maintenance (preferably in commercial, industrial, or facilities management environments).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and related mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification in HVAC, energy management, or safety (preferred).
