HVAC Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HVAC Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily business operations between our service and installation crews. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional customer service, and efficient management of staff and resources. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a passion for the ever evolving HVAC industry, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Operations Manager, you will drive sales growth, and foster a positive team culture that aligns with our company's goals.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise technicians, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee orientation to maintain a motivated and skilled team
  • Oversee daily operations such as assisting dispatchers with scheduling and coordination of upcoming jobs and service calls, ordering material and equipment
  • Assist technicians with problems and concerns on jobs
  • Conduct interviewing processes for new hires, participate in recruiting efforts, and facilitate onboarding programs
  • Foster excellent customer relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently
  • Supervise truck stock replenishment

Skills

  • Strong leadership qualities with proven supervisory experience in the HVAC industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skilled in negotiation and problem solving
  • Ability to train staff effectively on customer service standards and operational procedures
  • Experience with employee orientation programs and training & development initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC including heat pumps and mini splits
  • Exceptional time management skills coupled with strategic planning capabilities
  • Familiarity with marketing tactics relevant to the environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
