£325 – £425 per day | Long-Term Contract

We are currently supporting a key hire on Hinkley Point C, one of the UK’s most significant and complex nuclear infrastructure programmes. This is an opportunity to join a central planning function working across a multi-billion-pound project with long-term stability and career-defining exposure.

This is not a standard planning role. You will operate within an integrated project controls environment, supporting the delivery of HVAC works across Nuclear Island, Conventional Island and Balance of Plant. Your work will directly influence programme performance, critical path and overall project delivery.

The Role

• Develop and maintain integrated HVAC schedules aligned to the overall project programme
• Build and manage fully logic-linked plans using Primavera P6
• Interface with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams
• Support critical path analysis, progress reporting and forecasting
• Identify risks and opportunities within the HVAC scope and support mitigation strategies
• Contribute to planning strategy and continuous improvement across the programme
• Ensure alignment with project controls standards, procedures and reporting cycles

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner or Planning Engineer within HVAC, MEP or mechanical scopes
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 (essential)
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, energy, nuclear or EPC projects
• Ability to produce and manage detailed, logic-linked construction programmes
• Strong understanding of project controls, including planning, cost, risk and change
• Experience operating within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
