About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned HVAC technician who’s more than just a wrench-turner — someone who loves solving problems, takes pride in their work, and enjoys helping customers find real comfort in their homes and businesses.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems of all types, making sure every client receives the kind of service that sets APS apart — professional, honest, and done right the first time.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair HVACR systems — heating, cooling, and refrigeration
• Perform maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running at peak performance
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
• Troubleshoot issues in both residential and commercial environments
• Use diagnostic tools and meters to ensure proper operation and safety
• Collaborate with plumbing and electrical trades for comprehensive service
• Keep detailed, accurate service records
• Assist with installations and ensure all work meets code and company standards

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC service or a related field
• A strong mechanical and troubleshooting mindset — you love figuring things out
• Strong understanding of refrigeration theory and electrical trouble shooting skills
• Experience with boiler systems (a plus)
• Welding or appliance repair knowledge (bonus!)
• A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to doing quality work
