RKS Plumbing & Mechanical Inc. has grown to employ many diversified employees including licensed Plumbers, Apprentice Plumbers, Medical Gas Installers, Welders, and Service technicians. Our projects range in size from $100 to $20 million and encompass all plumbing aspects from a simple service call to tenant improvements, ground up commercial projects, schools, hospitals, prisons, assisted living projects, high-rise student housing and design-assist projects. No job is too big or too small!

Wage will be based off of experience.

The HVAC Commercial Project Manager is responsible for managing Commercial HVAC projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years experience in HVAC Project Manager of Commercial Project.
  • Experience in project estimates, budgets, schedules and assist in project contract negotiation.
  • Monitor contractual compliance for all projects.
  • Work closely with field Superintendents and Foremen..
  • Drive HVAC equipment buy outs and coordinate buy out schedule.
  • Coordinate close out and warranty process with Project Engineers.
  • Communicate to all levels of management and field.
  • 5-10 years experience in HVAC estimating
  • Experience in a variety of project types to include Commercial, and Industrial projects
  • Estimating the cost of HVAC projects, preparing cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, researching products and materials, evaluating bids, and preparing proposals
  • Provide estimates for projects with a range of complexity
  • Remain up to date on current industry trends in order to stay competitive in this ever-changing field
  • Communicate effectively with field, office and general contractor.
  • Understand energy codes and specifications that may affect each project

· Manage professional relationships with vendors, wholesales, and product reps.

· Track multiple projects statuses

· PO’s, submittals, warranty letters, etc.

· Create standard documents with project specific information

· Some level of experience with Microsoft office

· Facilitate communication and operations between field and office

· Knowledge of plumbing or mechanical fields helps

· Data management for projects

· Will print large format plans, organize and prepare them for the field.

- Mild level of heavy lifting for replacing large paper rolls

· Will visit construction sites with PPE
