HVAC Project Manager (Commercial/Mechanical)

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Project Manager (Commercial/Mechanical) to lead and oversee complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects within the commercial construction sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all phases of HVAC projects, from initial planning through execution and closeout, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop detailed project plans using construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications.
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, subcontractor bidding, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality control measures.
• Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid and Civil 3D for accurate cost forecasting and resource allocation.
• Monitor project schedules using project management software to identify potential delays early and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues on-site related to HVAC systems or mechanical installations, and ensure adherence to design schematics.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily reports, and progress updates.
• Foster effective communication among all stakeholders to facilitate seamless project coordination from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical construction projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
• Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating processes.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and time management to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively on busy construction sites.
• Excellent communication skills for clear collaboration with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Familiarity with construction safety protocols and building codes related to HVAC systems installation.
• Relevant certifications or training in construction management or related fields are preferred; experience with Primavera P6 or <PERSON> is highly desirable. Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
