Duties include working with technicians, sales and production personnel to purchase equipment and materials to be used on jobs. Calling multiple vendors to achieve competitive pricing and desirable logistics. Organizing material lists and quotes for sales personnel and technicians. Providing quick materials and labor quotes for technicians, service dispatcher and sales team.

Responsible for paper flow from field and vendor documents (receipts, invoices, quotes etc). Setting up orders for re-occurring preventative maintenance jobs. Managing staged materials etc for scope and delivery to job sites. Reports to Operations Manager and ownership on daily basis of tasks achieved. Weekly service meetings with Production staff to plan work loads and assignments.

Applicant should have minimum 5 years in HVAC Purchasing and Office work and customer relationship skills.

  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools (Quickbooks, Excel,Word Documents)

  • Provide technical support; research and send appropriate service manuals to technicians as needed
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company.
  • Verifying purchases by comparing them to a primary list and recommending alternatives for expensive or irrelevant products.
  • Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
  • Authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records and inventories
