Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance work to verify adherence to schematics, HVAC design specifications, and safety protocols.
• Utilize technical tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits, refrigeration systems, and mechanical components.
• Review schematics and technical drawings to accurately assess system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Perform field service tasks including appliance repair, air conditioning servicing, plumbing checks, and ammonia refrigeration system evaluations.
• Document inspection results meticulously through detailed reports and logs; communicate findings clearly to project teams or clients.
• Assist with equipment repair and maintenance activities on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems including boilers and other mechanical equipment.
• Support property maintenance efforts by identifying potential issues early and recommending corrective actions to uphold safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or service technician roles with a strong background in HVAC systems; experience with HVAC/R is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, appliances repair, air conditioning units, and general equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with property maintenance or field service is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments. Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
