HVAC Quality Control Technician

Frymire Home Services is looking to hire an experienced, detail-oriented Residential HVAC QC Technician to join our team.

HVAC QC Technician Qualifications:

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience required
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices, diagnostics, airflow, and system performance
• Prior experience in quality control, field supervision, commissioning, or senior-level service/install work preferred
• EPA Certification required
• NATE and/or NCI Certifications preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be able to safely access attics, crawlspaces, and tight work areas

What YOU Will Do:

• Perform quality control inspections on completed residential HVAC installs and service work
• Verify systems are installed properly and operating efficiently
• Check airflow, static pressure, refrigerant charge, and overall system performance
• Ensure work meets manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
• Identify workmanship issues and communicate corrective actions with install and service teams
• Complete system startups, final inspections, and documentation
• Deliver a strong customer experience throughout the process

• On-call 1 evening per week (on-call ends at 8pm) and one Saturday & Sunday per month (no back-to-back days)
