Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Syracuse, NY, for an HVAC/R Technician. The HVAC/R Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration, HVAC systems, and ultra-low temperature equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting, diagnosing system malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. Technicians will also interact with clients to provide technical support and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair, including refrigeration and ultra-low temperature equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and controls related to HVAC/R operations
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate service records
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Capability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• EPA Certification; additional HVAC certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems is highly desirable
