JOB DESCRIPTION:

The HVAC Repair Mechanic assists in the troubleshoot, repair or overhaul of HVAC equipment.

Essential Functions

• Clean dirt and grease from machines and equipment, such as compressors, coils, frames, and piping, using cleaning solutions, rags, vacuum systems, high pressure wash, or dry ice blasting equipment.
• Inform supervisor of any part or equipment defects noted during the cleaning process.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment as instructed.
• Provide support and assistance to other technicians and team members, as directed, and any other duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or Sr. Personnel.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company's rules and policies.
• Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
• Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and CMMI).
• Maintain and safeguard business records

The anticipated wage for candidates who will work in Westminster, MD is $20.55 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Knorr Brake Company is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation leave.Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use.
