Job Title: Residential Gas Piping Specialist (RMGA / Journeyman Plumber)

We are looking for a precision-focused Gas Piping Specialist to join our residential HVAC team. We don’t just "run pipe"—we install systems that are sized correctly, look clean, and stand the test of time. If you take pride in your threading and know the difference between "good enough" and "done right," we want to talk to you.

The Role

As our lead gas piper, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of gas line installations in residential settings. This isn't just about hauling black iron; it’s about technical accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Sizing: Calculate and size gas piping systems for furnaces, water heaters, ranges, and outdoor fire pits.
• Expert Installation: Efficiently cut, thread, and install black iron and CSST piping in residential homes.
• Machine Mastery: Operate and maintain a power pipe threader with speed and safety.
• Quality Control: Pressure test all lines and ensure every install meets local codes and company standards.

Qualifications (Required)

• Certification: Must hold a current RMGA Certification OR be a Licensed Journeyman Plumber.
• Residential Experience: Proven track record of gas piping in residential retrofits or new construction.
• Technical Math: Ability to calculate BTU loads and pipe distances to ensure proper sizing.
• The Basics: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the physical ability to navigate attics and crawlspaces.

Pay: $25.00 - $34.80 per hour
