HVAC Residential / Light Commercial Service Technician

• Owner Operator Company looking for seasoned service technician wanting part time service calls. Company truck and larger tools provided, (ie) Vacuum pump, Recovery machine etc. Why work for me? Installer Background preferred (not required) as I like to have well rounded employees. Company vehicle provided in which you will report from home to all jobs. I do not micromanage but expect professionalism from you while conducting business. EARN commisons for larger ticket sale items, (ie) Air Quality equipment & AC Systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose / repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems to include A/C Condensers, Mini Splits, Heat Pumps Furnaces , and RTU's
• Read and interpret schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot system faults.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to identify parts or equipment needing replacement.
• Conduct yourself in a profeesional clean manner, no smoking before going into a customers home nor business.
• Maintain detailed service records for each job performed through HCP
• Ensure compliance with safety standards including proper handling of refrigeration or other hazardous equipment when applicable.
• Operate company vehicle safely for transportation between job sites.

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge in HVAC systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals effectively.
• Knowledge of HVAC design principles and installation procedures for residential and light commercial settings. (ie) Duct sizing etc.
• Familiarity with plumbing, refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliance repair techniques.
• Experience with field service operations including troubleshooting electrical components using ohmmeters and performing equipment repair or brazingwhen necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company vehicle safely.

Pay: $32.65 - $42.00 per hour
