Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven HVAC Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their HVAC needs and presenting appropriate solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase HVAC systems and related technologies.
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to develop customized proposals, including detailed technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies such as computer networking, AWS (Amazon Web Services), VMware, Linux, Azure, and related tools that enhance HVAC system performance.
- Assist clients in understanding the integration of HVAC systems with modern IT infrastructure, including analysis of network requirements and system compatibility.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of solutions.
- Demonstrate technical sales expertise by providing product demos, answering detailed questions, and addressing client concerns confidently.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess client requirements, recommend optimal solutions, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress using CRM tools and other tracking systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the HVAC or related technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, virtualization technologies like VMware, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash (Unix shell) for automation or troubleshooting purposes is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging product demos and technical presentations to diverse audiences.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing customer needs and designing tailored solutions that incorporate modern IT infrastructure components.
- Prior experience in sales combined with a technical background in networked systems or cloud services is highly desirable. Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
