, Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Senior Technician to lead and execute complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance projects. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems across diverse property types. Your proactive approach and leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence in service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of systems, including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations, while mentoring junior technicians and contributing to property maintenance excellence.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrades of HVAC equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
• Conduct field service operations with a focus on appliance repair, plumbing integration, and equipment repair to ensure system reliability.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding techniques for system repairs or modifications.
• Develop maintenance schedules and perform routine inspections to prevent system failures and optimize performance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed across all operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), mechanical systems, and property maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC system installation and repair.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles in troubleshooting scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operation is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, appliance repair, welding techniques, and equipment repair is essential.
• Familiarity with field service procedures, including the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
• Strong mechanic experience combined with excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
