HVAC Service and Parts Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Service and Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our technical service teams, suppliers, and customers, ensuring seamless parts procurement, inventory management, and support for HVAC systems. Duties

• Manage inventory levels for HVAC parts and equipment, utilizing warehouse management systems and ERP platforms to ensure accurate stock levels and availability.
• Coordinate procurement activities by sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, negotiating prices with suppliers, and managing order placement through procurement management systems.
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery of parts while maintaining proper documentation within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and AS400 systems.
• Support automotive diagnostics and repair teams by providing technical expertise on HVAC components, including auto body repair parts when applicable.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication, supplier management practices, and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in demand planning by analyzing usage trends, forecasting future needs, and optimizing inventory control strategies to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal team requests promptly, offering technical guidance on HVAC systems, and resolving supply-related issues efficiently.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles, including sourcing, procurement, demand planning, and logistics.
• Proven experience with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms (such as SAP or Oracle), and order management systems like AS400.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, automotive diagnostics, auto body repair parts, and equipment repair procedures.
• Skilled in negotiation with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms while maintaining quality standards.
• Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as inventory control, shipping & receiving protocols, and demand forecasting.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred.
• Experience working within dealership environments or in automotive service settings is highly desirable.
• Competence in data entry accuracy combined with attention to detail for maintaining precise records.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and suppliers.
• Knowledge of procurement management practices aligned with manufacturing or automotive industries; familiarity with OEM parts sourcing is a plus. Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
