Position Title: Service Coordinator/Dispatcher
Primary Function:
Provide staff support to dispatcher and service manager to ensure a smooth and timely flow of materials, tools, test equipment, and paperwork.
Field Productivity:
- Provide equipment, material, tools, and logistical support to the field to ensure maximum productivity.
Status Reporting:
- Inform manager of work progress, customer relations, field personnel relations, material administration, and other matters affecting service operations.
Customer Relations:
- Immediately advise manager of customer complaints to expedite resolution to ensure and maintain
long term relationships.
- Communicate resolution to customer.
Paperwork:
- Perform auditing of assigned paperwork to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Service Personnel Dispatching:
- Provide dispatching and/or provide dispatching support to Dispatcher.
Mechanical Systems Knowledge:
- Maintain understanding of mechanical systems to effectively coordinate movement, control, and handling of materials, and tools for field service representatives.
Logistical Skills:
- Possess sufficient knowledge of geographical layout to make logical decisions concerning purchasing and transfer of tools, materials, and equipment.
Field Equipment Coordination:
- Maintain awareness of availability of equipment and how utilized. Locate, purchase, and coordinate use of equipment to best meet needs of field personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
