As an HVAC Dispatcher, you’ll manage technician scheduling, service coordination, customer communication, and dispatch operations for residential HVAC service calls. You’ll work directly with technicians, customer service representatives, and office leadership to keep the department efficient, organized, and responsive.

Dispatch HVAC service technicians efficiently throughout the day

Coordinate service calls, technician routing, and schedule adjustments

Manage the dispatch board and monitor service completion updates
-
Communicate with technicians regarding parts, job details, and customer updates

Follow up on pending work, maintenance agreements, and scheduling opportunities
-
Maintain accurate customer records and service information
-
Forecast workload and support schedule planning during high-demand periods
-
Review calls and support customer service quality assurance processes
Coordinate on-call scheduling and technician communication

2+ years of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience
-
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home service industry experience preferred

Strong multitasking and communication skills

Able to prioritize multiple technicians, urgent calls, and schedule changes without losing organization

Experience using dispatch software, GPS scheduling, or CRM systems preferred

Professional phone communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
High school diploma or GED required
