Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise HVAC service teams, providing guidance on technical procedures, safety protocols, and customer interactions to ensure high performance and professionalism
- Oversee scheduling of field service operations, ensuring timely completion of maintenance, repairs, and installations for HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, geothermal and minisplits
- Review schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to accurately diagnose issues and develop effective repair strategies
- Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for equipment repair and maintenance tasks
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate property maintenance needs related to HVAC/R systems and coordinate with clients on project scope
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines such as ammonia refrigeration handling
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, including reports on equipment repair, welding repairs, ohmmeter readings, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in field service operations and technician training
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience managing HVAC or property maintenance teams in a construction or facilities environment
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design and system layouts
- Familiarity with HVAC/R equipment repair tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Knowledge of boiler systems, mechanical components, and field service procedures for complex equipment maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, vendors, and emergency responders when necessary

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
