Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various environments. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary
- Collaborate with other technicians on complex installations or repairs
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to complete tasks
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during service calls
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with service technician experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and air conditioning
- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC design and installation
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems
- Experience in field service environments with a focus on appliance repair and property maintenance
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
